Tickets aren't too expensive. So thinking if I should just go on Sunday and check out the paddock in the morning and get a few pictures and autographs. Might be a better way to spend the Sunday morning than watch the Singapore GP. But parking fees at COTA sucks donkeys balls. Its more expensive than the ticket!

I really like what they've done with those stars. Bernie wanted them removed for the GP last year but they were different iirc.

Get on Craigslist and find some folks to ride-share, and split parking fees. Or hell, Im sure you could put notice here!

I'd be going if I didn't have a 2-month old and a potty-training 2-year old at home.

Was thinking about going down, but just don't want to have to drive back to Dallas Sunday night and have to be up for work in the morning.

As far as parking goes, are they not doing the shuttles like they did for the F1 race? I took those 2 of the 3 days I was at the race last year and it was leaps and bounds quicker and cheaper than trying to park on-site.

So bummed I'm missing this one. Finally have a date to get back, though, and my girlfriend gets a discount on COTA tickets. I'm thinking about going to the Vintage National Championships in October.

If you have the choice, go to ALMS instead of WEC. There's no R18s, but the paddock atmosphere is far more friendly (you can actually see the cars up close, in other words), it should theoretically be cheaper, you can still watch the GP on Sunday and the racing is better in general than it is in WEC.
